How long has Merchantwide been around?+
Since 2001. That is 20+ years helping small and larger businesses across Dallas-Fort Worth with payments, payroll, and support. That experience (and our banking relationships) is exactly what lets us find savings others miss.
What areas do you serve?+
We're based in Frisco, Texas and serve the entire DFW metroplex and beyond, including Plano, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, The Colony, Little Elm, Garland, Carrollton, and Aubrey. Local owners can stop by; everyone gets a real point of contact.
Do I have to use all five services?+
Not at all. Most clients start with one, whether that's payments, payroll, bookkeeping, marketing, or a virtual assistant, and add more when they're ready. Bundling just makes things simpler later.
What is a relationship manager?+

How much does a consultation cost?+
Nothing. The consultation and our statement audit are free, with no obligation. You'll leave with a clear, written picture of where you could save.

Send one recent statement. Within 48 hours we walk you through your true effective rate, every fee, and what you'd pay with us, in writing, no obligation.
What terminals and payment methods work with you?+
Wired and wireless terminals, full POS systems, mobile readers, virtual terminals, and eCommerce gateways, chip, swipe, tap, mobile wallets, and all major cards.
Do you work with high-risk businesses?+
Yes. With 20+ years of banking relationships, we specialize in placing hard-to-approve and high-risk accounts other processors turn away.

Do you file my payroll taxes?+
Yes. We calculate, file, and pay federal, state, and local payroll taxes on time, backed by a tax-penalty guarantee. Our error, our cost.
How long does payroll take to run?+
A few minutes. Approve hours and hit run, salary, hourly, contractors, and bonuses are all handled in one simple flow.
Can you handle HR tasks too?+
Yes. Beyond pay runs we cover new-hire onboarding and reporting, employee records, PTO and time tracking, and ongoing compliance.
What if I'm switching mid-year?+
We migrate your year-to-date totals and prior filings so everything reconciles, and we coordinate a clean handoff to your CPA at year end.
